I am glad you all enjoyed last night’s ‘special edition’. I tell you it has reinvigorated me and I pray it has done the same for you. The days of intimidation are OVER! The Examiner wrote an excellent piece last night about Chick Fil A and the ‘not so desired result’ that the left was looking for. It’s a fun read and will keep you smiling for the day.

Well, by now you know that Texas dumped the RINO in favor TED CRUZ and frankly it’s now time for ALL STATES to dump the RINOS and go for the Gold with real Conservatives or at best a REAL REPUBLICANS. That said, read this piece from the Washington Post that finds that ‘Cruz’s victory will almost certainly make the lives of the other members of the Senate Republican leadership more difficult’ (read as RINOs followed by a ‘Hell Yeah’) – then laugh:

The House passed the GOP bill to extend all Bush-era tax cuts for one year with a vote of 256-171, with 19 Dem YES votes and 1 GOP NO vote. The word is creeping out today – just about everywhere-  that while Obama has made repealing the Bush-era tax cuts for families making more than $250,000 a year the centerpiece of his fiscal policy and we are told ad nauseum that Bush’s tax cuts for the “rich” are a big driver of our current budget deficits, repealing these cuts are just about the sum total of Obama’s proposals to bring down the deficit – the word getting out is – there’s a problem. Breitbart writes: The problem is, there just aren’t enough rich people around. Repealing all the Bush-era tax cuts for the wealthy would only cover about 16% of our projected deficits. Raising taxes on the “rich” is a campaign and propaganda tool – period and hoorah they are busted!

I do have some perplexing news today. Assemblywoman Nan Hayworth voted ‘present’ on HR 3803. PRESENT???

HR3803 sought to make it illegal to have an abortion after 20 weeks in the District of Columbia. 20 weeks equals 5 months pregnant Nan. The legislation recognized that a baby at 5 months could ‘feel pain’ during the elective abortion. While we ALL know that Nan is for abortion – this ‘present vote’, to me, signifies her reluctance to piss off (No other words to use – sorry) Planned Parenthood or the Tea Party.  I find that we ALL deserve a courageous, principled to the core, representative. This vote screams weakness, if not ‘chicken’ (okay excuse the pun) and that doesn’t sit well – sorry. But I digress – today is all about GOOD!

I tell you – I am the happiest I’ve been in quite some time. Remember all those “The Tea Party is Dead” stories that the liberal media was writing last year at this time? Guess what? They’re not writing those stories anymore. We beat the establishment in Indiana with Richard Mourdock over Dick Lugar, then we beat them again in Nebraska with Deb Fischer, and then, Tuesday night in Texas, Ted Cruz pulled the biggest stunner of the year just to make sure they got the message! Add to that the Chick-fil-A victory – WHOA we should ALL feel REALLY REALLY GOOD! Come on November!

The good news continues –

Perhaps no one knows the despair caused by the government’s destruction of the black family better than the black pastors who try to hold their communities together. Many of them fought for civil rights and equality under the law. They’ve worked to improve their communities and lobbied for assistance to deal with deep social problems. But you’ll search far and wide before you find many black pastors who say the solution to their communities’ problems will be met by legalizing “gay” marriage. And now some of them — who voted for Barack Obama — will be giving their churches different advice …

The Democrats who worked so hard to pass Obamacare are now afraid to reaffirm — or repudiate it — with a vote. They’re simply too afraid to cross the president, and they’re afraid to show the voters who sent them here that they continue to support this terrible law despite everything we’ve learned about it.

The House Ethics Committee issued a blistering report on Wednesday finding Rep. Laura Richardson guilty of improperly pressuring her official staff to campaign for her, destroying evidence and tampering with witness testimony. Ah Karma – LOVE IT!

Romney’s plan for economic recovery – Tax cuts, spending restraint and repeal of Obama’s regulatory excesses would mean 12 million new jobs in his first term alone. Whoop Whoop!
