When history is written, which side will you be on?

One would think that’s an easy question to answer but in earnest – it’s not. This week’s NTKN editions have caused quite a fuss with many on ‘our side’, inciting arguments on facebook over the posts. Some side with Joe Arpaio others say he’s nuts. Some side with Obama on certain elements within OCare, some not so much. Some side with taxing the rich more, some not so much. Some side with continuing the tax cuts, some not so much. Some say the Arms treaty is fine – others not so much – More of the same with the LOST treaty. It’s really no wonder that politics is such a mess.

What has happened is that we’ve bought into the ‘new government’ and have shied away from our Constitutional government. And some of our reps couldn’t be happier. Sometimes I find that ‘our own’ are part of the Sheeple – regardless that they know the facts things have become cloudy for them. Herein lies the problem. We ALL have opinions on different issues and most of them are based on how things affect US – we fail to take into consideration the long arm of government and how it works, daily, to inhibit US for we are focused on the NOW and ME. This is dangerous.

As an example, as Obama drags out the old Marxist class warfare argument to distract from his failed economic policies, administration corruption and jobs killing agenda, people are still failing to ask how is this tax proposal a focus on jobs? How will it benefit the economy? Obama is out of answers and must rely on his slick deceptions hidden in pitting Americans against each other and we are falling for it hook, line and sinker.

While most of us know that Obama’s campaign is filled with dishonest attack ads portraying Mitt Romney as a “corporate raider” and a “pioneer” of shipping American jobs overseas (as they have been debunked by multiple independent fact checkers) people are still buying the lies. WHY?

Which brings us to this question….

Do you believe, like Reagan did, that the best social program in the world is a job? Or do you believe that 99 weeks unemployment is best? Or more people on welfare is best so no one in America goes without? Again – not such an easy question to answer for we ALL know people who can’t find a job yet have mortgage payments to make. Or a family in church who needs welfare to put a roof over their heads and food on their tables. Regardless of which side you are on – news this morning from California should be a wake-up call for our opinions – The Southern California city of San Bernardino has voted to declare bankruptcy.

The City Council in the city of 210,000 people decided to seek Chapter 9 protection Tuesday night, making it the third California city in less than two weeks to make the rare move. It would also become among the largest in the nation ever to declare bankruptcy. Stockton, the northern California city of nearly 300,000, became the biggest when it filed for bankruptcy June 28.

The Los Angeles Times says the City Council made the decision during a meeting where Interim City Manager Andrea Miller told them San Bernardino “has an immediate cash flow issue” and may not be able to make payroll with a budget shortfall of more than $45 million in the next fiscal year.
If we do not demand that our government get back to it’s Constitutional Responsibility and nothing more – as California goes – so shall we.

And more hypocrisy: Yesterday, Attorney General Eric Holder addressed the NAACP Nation Convention at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. What did media need in order to attend? That’s right, government issued photo identification (and a second form of identification too!), something both Holder and the NAACP stand firmly against when it comes to voting. Holder’s DOJ is currently suing Texas for “discriminatory” voter ID laws. From the press release:

All media must present government-issued photo I.D. (such as a driver’s license) as well as valid media credentials. Members of the media must RSVP to receive press credentials at http://action.naacp.org/page/s/registration. For security purposes, media check-in and equipment set up must be completed by 7:45 a.m. CDT for an 8:00 a.m. CDT security sweep. Once the security sweep is completed, additional media equipment will NOT be permitted to enter and swept equipment will NOT be permitted to exit.

Ironically, NAACP President Ben Jealous railed against voter ID just before Holder took the stage.

The head of the NAACP on Monday likened the group’s fight against conservative-backed voter ID laws that have been passed in several states to the great civil rights battles of the 1960s.

Benjamin Todd Jealous, the CEO and president of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, said these are “Selma and Montgomery times,” referring to historic Alabama civil rights confrontations. He challenged those attending the NAACP’s annual convention to redouble their efforts to get out the vote in November.

“We must overwhelm the rising tide of voting suppression with the high tide of registration and mobilization and motivation and protection,” he said.

“Simply put, the NAACP will never stand by as any state tries to encode discrimination into law,” Jealous said.

Later today, our House Reps will cast their vote on whether to REPEAL OBAMACARE. It’s the first key vote following the Supreme Court’s outrageous decision deeming ObamaCare a constitutional tax. The Left is doing everything in its power to mock and ridicule this vote. The media are scolding GOP leaders for even bringing up a repeal vote. Grassfire Nation breaks the ‘why’ down: The liberal media are trying to give “cover” for Democrats in the House to vote against the Repeal bill. By mocking and ridiculing the fact that the House is even voting on a bill to Repeal ObamaCare, they think they are giving liberals in Congress an excuse to oppose the repeal. This is classic “inside the beltway” thinking — totally out of touch with the vast majority of Americans who are fed up with ObamaCare and the political establishment that rammed it down our throats. This is straight out of the Saul Alinsky “Rules For Radicals” playbook! When you can’t win an argument, launch a coordinated effort to ridicule and destroy your opponent! The only way to counter the Left’s strategy is for citizens to take a stand and let their voices be heard!

The United States of America is under siege and the coup near complete. A new government study (paid for with your taxpayer dollars) reads like an al qaeda reader. The study says “Muslim terrorists are widely misunderstood and don’t wish to impose Islam around world as is commonly believed in the west, they simply murder innocent people to defend against foreign attacks by enemies of Islam.” Sure had us and all other freedom loving peoples fooled.

This is the kind of jihad propaganda written by Muslim Brotherhood operative like CAIR, ISNA or Obama White House adviser Dalia Mogahed. Imam Rauf’s verbal diarhhea has take hold at think tanks and universities across this land.
